Here is my Post

WooHoo 1st DT post

Hi and welcome back to my blog

Today i am blogging my very first DT work for

ATC's and Cards with Attitude

I chose to make a Fat page (my very first one)

A fat Page is 4'' x 4'' and usually has holes punched into one side so your can add to
a book, they are similar to an ATC and can be given like one aswell.

Here is my Fat Page

I took the image and made sure it was smaller than the green backing card,
coloured the image using a selection of pro/flexi markers and noirs,
Added the little butterfly which i coloured yellow and went round the edges in
amethyst, dotted the bugs with cosmic shimmer and to finish added the Blue butterfly.

A Non Domestic Animal Challenge

I am most definitely on a roll here is my 3rd blog of today,

A challenge over on midweekmagnolias is to create a project without using a domestic animal.

I thought Walter the moose would be perfect

I used a circle die to cut out the circles you see, then added some swirls coloured in using noir GB10, Walter was stamped and coloured in using pro markers Cinnamon and Coral I also cut out the sign and holder from brown paper scraps, the backing paper is from a free free pad that came with a magazine i used Cosmic shimmer for the dots going round the circle all put onto white card stock.

I do hope you like it xx

I have entered it into the Challenge on:-

Midweek Magnolias

Anything But Square

Second post of the day woohoo

I have found another challenge over at The Crafty Pad and this time it is to make a card from anything but square,

I chose to make a spellbinders Nestabilities - Blossom 4 i folded a sheet of base card in half and placed the biggest of the dies so that a little of the tallest part was hanging over the edge of the fold then ran through my bigshot, Then i used a single piece of card and used the largest die again to make my actual topper part.

I used red ink and a cotton pad (i dont have any of the distress inks) and dabbed the cotton pad in the ink and went round the edges of the topper part of the card and also the bottom layer of the card , as you would if you were using distress inks.

Next i to folded one half of the folded card in half this is what you are going to stick the topper part to, I have used the stamped image Strawberry Tilda coloured in using pro and flexi markers, i then stuck the image onto the topper piece of card so it can form an easel card, I snipped off a tiny bit at the bottom to make it stand straight.

Lastly i used the 2nd smallest die and cut it out also going round the edges with the ink and cotton pad and added foam pads and With Love, and stuck it so my card was standing up.

Please let me know what you think xxx
